About Swarovski
Learn about Swarovski crystals and components
We are proud to handcraft some of our jewelry with authentic Swarovski elements and/components.Each piece made with Swarovski elements has is own stone id color and effect. The ID identify excatly which kind of Swarovski crystal we are using and its effect, in the same time identifies its authenticity.
Why on other website, like Ebay, i can find very cheap Swarovski jewelry?
Simple, many sellers declare to sell jewelry with Swarovski elements but they are just cheating their customer. Remind that each Swarovski element, crystal, component, has is own Swarovski table color, its own name, its own size and special effect or color. Infact many sellers declare only to sell jewelry made with Swarovski, but they don't disclose which kind of Swarovski element they are using, because they don't have any idea what a Swarovski crystal is and how identify a real Swarovski element and/or component. Furthermore those sellers cannot use any Swarovski logo on their product page because they are not selling authentic Swarovski and they might have their listing shutted down or have legal issues directly with Swarovski.

About Diamonds
Facts and most important things to know about the natural Diamonds we use to handcraft our jewelry
Diamonds are symbols of love. For centuries, they’ve launched romances, won hearts, and marked anniversaries. Kings and queens yearn for them. Movie stars show them off. Some of the world’s hottest and coldest places produce them. The craving for diamonds is as stable as the stones themselves. Diamonds are produced in the most severe climatic conditions. Among the millions of carats mined every year, truly flawless diamonds number in just hundreds. These rarest of beauties are the most expensive.
The brilliance of diamonds depends upon the way they are cut. Traditional cuts radiate an almost glowing spark of light. A modern version known as the Ideal cut is said to emit a spectrum of fire-like color. Both of them are dazzling.
Certification – The certificate is like a passport. It identifies the specific characteristics of the diamond. Apart from a diagram of the diamond's particular inclusions or quirks, the certificate gives in detail its measurements and other grades and characteristics like cut, clarity and color. The certificate assures that the diamond is what it is supposed to be. You might also receive documents from some other recognized certifying bodies. Look for a few names like the American Gem Society, International Gemological Institute etc.
Choosing a Shape – Diamonds have their tops and bottoms. The shape of diamond is decided by its girdle configuration. The girdle is the largest perimeter which outlines the diamond and seta apart the top from the bottom. The shape influences how a diamond is cut for providing the maximum brilliance. Round brilliant diamonds are undoubtedly the favorites. They account for four out of every five diamonds.
Cut – How a diamond is cut, so that all of its surfaces work in harmony to give the greatest brilliance, is as much as an art as it is a science. Among the 4C's of the value of diamonds, that includes color, clarity, and carat weight, cut is the most important. Cut brings out a diamond's extraordinary beauty. Proportion also plays a significant role. A shallow cut diamond reflects light downward from the base. A deeply cut diamond emits light from the sides of its base. Ideally cut diamonds, reflect most of their light through their top surface. This is the most valued and costly quality.
Color – Diamonds purest in brilliance have no colors like blues, reds, and violets so as to conflict with their sparkle. The exception is that there are Fancy colored diamonds which are extremely rare and valued for their deep hues. The cost of a Fancy diamond is nearly a million dollar for one carat.
Diamonds are graded based on their color. The Gemological Institute of America uses the letters "D" to "Z" for ranking diamond color. Blue white diamonds, considered completely colorless, carry a rating of "D". For diamonds, determining its color is an extremely objective and precise procedure. You cannot mix "D"-rated diamonds with the "H"-rated ones, even though they look similar. Nor can you want to pay "F"-level prices for "J"-level stones. For this reason, a certificate from the Gemological Institute is so essential while buying a diamond.
Clarity – Among the four "Cs" of diamond, "clarity" grips the inner look of diamonds. Keeping with the exact nature of deciding diamond value, clarity has its individual measurement scale.
Almost all diamonds have inclusions. Specks, bubbles and lines are inclusions which give each diamond its uniqueness. The clarity scale is responsible for these microscopic flaws. Gems with the least inclusions are the rarest and the most expensive. The inclusions are so minute that they can only be seen under 10-power magnification. The inclusions are undetectable to the naked eye.
Does Moooh!! use only Free Conflct Diamonds ?
Moooh, together
with global diamond industry, has a zero-tolerance policy to conflict diamonds.
Through measures like the Kimberley Process, that tracks diamonds from the mine
to market, the industry in collaboration with the United Nations, governments,
and other non-governmental organizations, controls the export of diamonds to
prevent the trade of unlawful diamonds.
At Moooh, we simply purchase diamonds through the biggest and the most reputed suppliers who follow and enforce the standards which are established by the Kimberley Process. All our Moooh diamonds are conflict free. If any of our suppliers is ever found to violate the process, we would immediately cut that relationship.
